Stressed, Feelings, and Stuff

It’s Tuesday afternoon and I have not been on my laptop since last Wednesday morning. A full week, people. In all actuality, I haven’t really been on social media much either.

My week has been consumed with three things: Work, sleep, and family. But mostly work.

I am so far behind on a lot of stuff, including life. I have a pile of clean laundry that’s been sitting idle on a chair for a week. Left overs in the fridge that I don’t even want to look at. There is probably an inbox full of emails that I should tend to, also.

There is a lot of built up stuff in my life. From emails and laundry to work issues and foot injuries. It’s a lot of stress; maybe somewhat self-imposed.

In the last two weeks I have gained just about 4 pounds, and nearly 7 pounds in the last month. I’m ashamed to even type that out because that means my current weight is 221.4.

I’m frustrated that I can’t run, which was my one out when I needed it the most. Aside from a list of “to-do’s” from my doctor, there really isn’t a solution to my foot pains. We’ve narrowed it down to Plantar Fasciitis, but after years of wear and tear there is a lot more to the problem.

So today, December 3rd, 2013, I am vowing to start over. I am vowing to find other outlets for my stress and I am vowing to figure out this stress/emotional eating thing. I want to start the new year with a clear head and focused heart. I am doing this for me.
