Reset

It’s time to hit the reset button! It’s a New Year and I want a fresh start!
I have reset my weight loss ticker, that you see at the top of the page, to zero and I am starting a new tracking spreadsheet for my measurements. I have freed myself from the chains of 2010!
It’s also Weigh In Wednesday! So let’s get right to that, shall we?

I am very aware that my is up from my Final Weigh In of 2010. However, I am not going to dwell on that. I can’t! That is why I am choosing to reset everything and move forward. Instead starting the year being down and out about the weigh I have gained over the holidays, I choose to give myself a fresh start for the New Year ! RESET!
For the next 52 weeks I can be proud of my successes since this first week of 2011. Everything between now and then will be an accomplishment and there is no more looking back at failures or what might have been! This might sound a bit like typical new years hype but making healthier choices seems so much easier now that I don’t feel like I am behind anymore. Maybe it’s commitment taking over.
One thing I know for sure: I NEVER want to feel like I did when I looked at my picture from January 1st.
My 356 day photo project!
1.3.11 – Having a lot more fresh fruit in my diet!
1.4.11 – Putting more miles on my running shoes!
1.5.11 – I will never see that number again!

QUESTION:  Is anyone else hitting a reset button for 2011?
What are you happy to have a fresh start at in 2011?

I have hit my reset button may times during this crazy journey – sometimes you just have to.
Good for you for not dwelling on the past and moving forward, I can tell you are going to have a great year.

I think i just might have to reset myself. I gained a pound overnight and now am up to 4 lbs gained over the holidays. Curse those caramels!

I like your idea…I think I am going to look at my weight as it is today as a starting point and only measure success off of that number. It will be much less depressing!

Here's to a great new year!

I guess, technically you can say 2011 IS my reset button. I did try this all out towards the end of 2010 in like, September, but I gave up. Now, I'm back on board, and I'm doing so well… It's like a clean slate. =)

Resets for a fresh start are needed sometimes, Lord knows I have done several!! I am not doing one this year, since I did not really start until August and frankly that is just too soon for a reset on my journey! Glad that you are keeping a positive attitude!! This is your year! You can do it!

I think I have to hit it right now. I just ate a bag of chocolate-covered peanuts, and I feel sick to my stomach. I'm feeling so blah, depressed, and unmotivated. 😦

Good for you, though! I'm super proud of you and excited about what the new year has in store for you.

Love the pictures! I'm resetting (or trying to) my aversion to my boss/job and trying to pretend like I love my job. So far, I'm doing better than last year with my hatred 😉

Good luck on your fresh start, can't wait to see what 2011 brings you.

I did push the refresh button concerning workouts or running training but never on my weight. I want to see where I come from concerning my weight.

    Love your 365 project.
